From flipping burgers to a millionaire: The Bangladeshi who got featured in Australia's Young Rich list.

Ashik Ahmed moved to Australia when he was only 17 years old and soon he started to flip burgers in a fast- food-chain in Melbourne. Now, he is the CEO & co-founder of Deputy and has recently been featured in Australian Financial Review Young Rich List of Australia. He has also been interviewed recently by SBSNews.

In the interview he stated that he was an hourly-paid worker himself so he saw the challenges on both the employers side and the employees side.

He also has passion for mathematics and science and combined with his previous knowledge he co-found workforce management system; Deputy in 2008.

Deputy helps business owners to keep a list of the employees and in their payment and now the company has a client list of more than 184,000 including Qantas & NASA.

Ashik Ahmed is 38 years old and is now listed at number 25 on the Australian Financial Review Young Rich List and worth $148 million.
