DSE's Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO) AKM Ziaul Hasan Khan sought permission from BSEC to inspect the companies in a letter
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) is set to inspect both the factories and head offices of four non-productive companies to investigate their operational statuses.
The companies to be inspected are Information Service Network Limited, Beach Hatchery, ICB Islamic Bank and United Airways (BD) Limited.
The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) approved the DSE’s proposal to inspection the companies on Thursday.
DSE's Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO) AKM Ziaul Hasan Khan sought permission from BSEC to inspect the companies in a letter sent on July 14 last.
The companies had failed to submit various reports, while some did not hold an annual general meeting (AGM) last year.
If any of the companies fails to meet the conditions of DSE’s inspection, they may be de-listed from the bourses.

Recently, the factories of Rahima Food Corporation Ltd and Modern Dyeing & Screen Printing Ltd was de-listed after they failed an inspection by Dhaka Stock Exchange.
